Walmart jobs offer the opportunity to develop a career. Over 75% of Walmart U.S. store operation management team members began as hourly employees. In FY2021, more than 300,000. U.S. associates were promoted to higher-paying jobs with greater responsibility. At the end of FY2021, the average hourly wage for U.S. full-time associates was over $15.00 an hour. We hired over 500,000 associates worldwide in 2020.
